Your Presence at the January 7th Board Meeting Speaks Volumes

Whether you signed up to testify or not, please join us at the January Board of Natural Resources meeting next Tuesday January 7th in Olympia, WA when the members will cast a final vote on whether to permanently adopt the executive order banning commercial net pens.

We already know the aquaculture industry is planning to pack the room with numerous industry representatives in an attempt to convince the Board that there is substantial support for returning commercial net pen aquaculture to Puget Sound.

We cannot let Cooke Aquaculture and their friends outnumber us and confuse the overwhelming and broad public support for permanently protecting Puget Sound from pollution, viruses, and catastrophic escape events.

Join us starting at 7:00 am at Centennial Park across the street from the Natural Resources Building and parking lot. We'll have coffee, tea, and light snacks available and walk over to the meeting together at 8:00 am when the doors open.
